The Department of French offers majors and minors in French as well as a major in Romance Languages. The department sponsors numerous study abroad opportunities.
Students are required to take the French Placement test before enrolling in a French course for the first time. Information on how to take the test along with the password can be found on the Language Placement Test webpage.
